Broody hen has only one chick! Advice Needed…

Hello, as you may have seen in my previous post, one of my hens when broody… now she has hatched one chick, but no others have hatched. We went on vacation for a weekend and other hens payed eggs in her nest, and the marks I had made in the eggs had rubbed of. So she is still sitting in the eggs, and the chick is with her, since it’s just 2 days old. Should I candle the remain eggs?

I would candle them, just to remove those that were laid over the weekend. It's fortunate that she's still sitting - she knows she's not yet done and more may hatch. Is she taking the chick out with her to eat and drink? Can you place water and food near her nest?

I placed food and water right outside the nest so chick and mama can have easy access.

We also fenced off and area of coop around her nesting box.
