Yesterday it pipped, this morning chick is sitting under hen. Fertilized eggs were donated by neighbor. Do I give water and food immediately? Do I separate from other 5 hens? She still sitting on an unhatched egg. Help! very new to this!

Yes, I would separate the broody and chick, at least for a few days.
I usually wait for more chicks to hatch before giving feed/water.

Is the other egg viable? Have you candled it at all?

Sunday was 21 days, neighbor gave me fertilized eggs at 7 days… My broody sitting on them 2weeks
I would personally wait until tomorrow to discard the egg.

If the chick has no signs of life by tomorrow, you can separate the broody and live chick in a separate pen for a few days to a couple of weeks. Once they’re separated from the rest of the flock, you can give them food and water.
Make sure the water dish is VERY shallow for the first few days, as chicks are very fragile and can drown easily if it is too deep.

Good luck and let me know how it goes.

If this is your only broody hen you don’t have to separate her. The only time I’ve had trouble leaving a new family in with the flock is if another hen thinks those are her chicks, then the hens fight over the babies.

Separating or not separating will probably be fine, good luck with your chicks!
