Broody Hen hatched her first chick....now what!?

The nesting boxes are off the ground and the last time I tried to
move her she didn't like the 'accomodations' on the ground. I have an old small travel carrier that I can pen up as the others hatch but I'm sure she will choose to go back to laying boxes. Plus what about my other hens? ThEy need a place to lay.

I would just let them work it out. When the chicks can't jump back up to the nest, she will cover them wherever everyone gathers.
