Hello, just wondering about any advise about hatching fertilised duck eggs under my broody chicken. My main concern is the humidity. Will I need to spray the eggs regularly with water? I’ve also heard of people setting up there broody hen on a mud and moss nest with straw on top to increase humidity. Is this a good idea? Thanks

The mud and straw idea works really well, and there shouldn't be a problem if you do that. But if you are still worried you can go out when she's off the nest and spray them with warm water. She might not have a 100% success hatch date but she will hatch quite a few. Honestly the hatch date depends on the hen.
