The chick should be fine then. Is the egg's temperature the same all around it and have it hatched anymore since moving it? For the egg, it might be best to ensure there's no drafts getting to it, even if it's the air itself. Do you oppose to using your own body heat to hatch it? Putting it directly against your skin and cupping a hand over, against it until it hatches might be best. (My mom has done this on a few of my hatches and we had success.)
Yes..it seems to be making progress. Ive helped a bit. Will my body heat work..thats awesome. No problem with me helping it hatch. I stuck a stuffed toy that chick number one is now under. I live for this sort of thing. Good to know I'm on the right road.
At this point, no. As soon as the hen has left the nest she'll kill any outsider/new comer in effort to protect her own.

The hen that tried to kill the chicks is sitting on the empty nest. Wondering how long it will take for her to get off the nest.
Put her in an elevated, upside-down kennel for three days. (I'm talking the metal bar dog kennel, not the plastic type.) That removes all her privacy and warmth so she'll stop brooding.
