Broody Hen - its a MIRACLE!

Im not sure about all that... I got my fertile eggs from a local chicken farmer. I often wondered how long would a hen sit on eggs if they didnt even hatch??

I think she's giving up. She's getting up alot more and generally seems very restless. I don't think she's going to set for the rest of the time.

buckaroo's wife, Don't really know what I am talking about BUT if she is a new broody maybe she just doesn't understand. What if you put her in a place that you can close her in. Then just let her out twice a day at chore time to stretch her legs and do her business? If there were room you could put water in for her. Then she could eat when you let her out.
