Broody hen keeps getting up

Hi there! I have a Cochin hen that is broody. This is my first time with a broody hen. She had about 10 eggs under her when she just switched nesting boxes after two days. I just put the eggs back under her and we are 7 days in now. Today is the second time I’ve seen her up from them running around outside the coop. The first time she went back and when I walked to the coop this time she growled and folllowed me. Is it normal for a hen to get up and down???

She should leave the nest daily to eat and defecate. Check to make sure that the nest is not infested with mites.
