Broody Hen Laying Again?

Hello, Ginger, a Colombian Wyandotte was found laying on a pony when she went broody, I eventually put two eggs under her, and they hatched. Now, the chicks don't want to spend time with Ginger anymore, so Ginger tried going into the goat manger that was full of hay. My mom thinks that she is trying to lay eggs again.

Can a broody hen not go broody anymore? Can she go back to laying eggs?

That's how it's done. They lay a clutch, set and hatch chicks, raise them up and start laying again.
