Broody Hen Question

I have some eggs in the incubator on day 7. I now have a broody hen. Is it ok to put some of my incubator eggs under her?

Is she a first time broody?? It might work out-----some hens I swear can count days-----LOL. It would really be according to the hen. If you know how to use your incubator(have good hatches) the hen would Not get any out the incubator if it was mine. Collect her some, mark(if she is with other hens) and set her---give her some fake eggs or golf balls till then..

If those incubator eggs aren't anything special or expensive, I'd give it a shot. Not all of them, but maybe a few. Not all hens are as smart as PD's.

I'm kind of having the same dilemma here. Just today my faithful broody has parked herself and I'm thinking of ordering some chicks to slip under her in a couple of weeks. I have some fake eggs under her right now, and will make sure she's truly broody before ordering.
