I have 13 eggs in the incubator due to hatch out 3 days before the broody hens eggs are due to hatch

If i gave her 3 day old chicks already along with the ones she hatches out. Would she accept them?

First time the chicken becomes a mum her breed is wydonette cross bantam silkie poof on head

She might. Only one way to find out. How many eggs is she sitting on? Giving her 13 more could very well be far more chicks than she can cover and keep warm.
shes got 10 but i think itll be 6-7 she might hatch out in 2-3 days her eggs are due.
Ive got 11 eggs in incubator. 2 hatched out already last night, 5 pipped atm

so because shes not a standard chicken size, maximum chicks she can care for is what again?

Thanks

did you slip them under at night or during the day?

Would love to know how this went since I have a broody that hatched one out tonight, and 1 hatched in the incubator tonight and another that should hatch under her over night or tomorrow. I am planning on giving her the incubator baby tomorrow. She is also still in with the flock and has been the whole time she has been broody.

I slipped under at night, she took them
I put more under over next 4-5 days cause the isa kept dumping new eggs while she was sitting
One of them i put in day time under a heat lamp in the tractor it looks like the rest she had 11 at that point. I came back evening baby left brooder and was under her

any ideas for me? my mama went out for a quick (like 10 min) break at 6am this morning, baby did follow but stayed in the box chirping away. mama came back and went to the wrong nest not with her chirping baby. I woke up shortly after and moved baby over to mama (same wrong nest she has been going to the past couple mornings so hoping that helps since maybe she just wants a different nest now?). Mama looked down at it, baby didn't go to sneak under right away so I went to help it and it went under and she lifted a tiny bit so it could. so think she is good that way but worried about her not going back to her baby. should I find a way to lock her and babies in (this is one that hatched under her so not the one given to her), should I take baby away? Since she is a new mom will she figure it out? I am now worried she won't protect it if she didn't even go back with it and just left it to go out.......
