Broody hen question

I lost my roo a few months ago. But a hen he mated with just went broody. Will she still lay firtle eggs?? Or dose the roo have to be around just before the eggs are layed?

She wouldn't be fertile after months. They say 2 wks.

No, it has been too long since you lost the rooster. Maybe you can buy some fertile eggs to put under her.
