I have 4 broodies right now
When one banty goes broody, they all follow, I guess
One of them is on day 16, but I've noticed SEVERAL times that she isn't covering all of her eggs. She is sitting on 3 regular sized eggs that should contain my first olive egger chicks
(I switched her eggs out with them, obviously). She is a bigger banty hen and should EASILY be able to cover 3 eggs. I'll check on her and she's got an egg laying beside her or one poking out from behind...I tuck them back under her and she accepts it back. I've marked all 3 eggs with A B C, and it's never the same egg. I should give up hope for an olive egger chick, huh?
I might add that I haven't tried to candle any of them. They're bright blue and I'd imagine a little difficult to candle anyway.
