Broody hen question?

Giving her more fertile eggs is a big mistake. She is already incubating eggs that are developing so by the time they hatch she will most likely get off the others and they will die. I would take them out right away. If you can't tell which ones are the newer ones then candle them. Give the newer ones to another broody or use an incubator. You could even eat them if given to her the last 24 hours.
I would keep the door open until day 18. Great pictures.

I took the first suggestion and left her alone. I put the fertilized eggs under her (she tried to bite be with each each one!) and she is happily sitting now. The other hens haven't laid today. I can't find any eggs but am suspicious they left them somewhere and I will find them later. Now she's happy as a clam. I hope the other hens will find the new laying place I made for them but so far they are not interested at all.

I only put 2 new ones in and she kicked two out they look familiar I think she took care of that for me! However we think she has only been sitting since the 1st so we might be ok if I am wrong about the eggs she disliked. As for candling them she won't let me near them even at night so I have no idea how I am going to pull that off haha
