I just had one swallow some baby rabbits , they are excellent climbers !! I snapped it by the Tail like a bull whip and It expelled the Rabbit (half swallowed) but it was already dead !!!

Poor rabbit! Sorry you lost that one. Phoebes always nest on my deck and I've caught these rat snakes in the process of eating the chicks out of the nest on occasion. Wish they'd stick with mice, voles and shrews, but, they do what they do.
