Our hen hatched out a small brood last week and was exploring the poultry paddock with her new family for a few days until yesterday. I didn't see her or her chicks out and found her and them in the coop. Again today she was in there with her chicks. I checked underneath her and found she was laying on someone else's eggs.
My question is what should I do? Let her keep setting on eggs, which I think wouldn't be good for the chicks (not getting enough to eat and drink, etc) or should I take the chicks from her and let her hatch those eggs out too?
