I envy you that homemade ice cream! I keep thinking I'll buy a new icecream maker but I talk myself out of it.

Its a little scary outside right now. The wind is blowing like mad. Lots of thunder & lightening too.
Junapurr and I had to come inside. She certainly hated to give up MY favorite back porch chair. Boo made her way inside too. View attachment 4170013

I hope the bad weather passes quickly!

I don't have an ice cream maker (besides me!) I just mixer 'er up and throw it in the freezer until it's almost frozen. It's not the creamiest, but it works! I've done the freezer bag method, also. It's probably better, but I don't like putting that much effort into it, haha. I would like an ice cream maker, too!

I could almost taste the lemon curd in my filled donut this morning. pretty sure my virtual donuts are still putting lbs on my hips.

I'm going to have to remember to mention the virtual doughnuts tomorrow when I have my annual check up. You think the doc will buy it?

Love the colors in that picture! So storms don't bother her much? My Opie is our storm indicator, he runs off to hide before we know a raindrop has hit.

The rain is nice in small doses but it seems to all come down at once, then skip a few weeks and repeat. We just had some driveway repair done and I'm hoping it will last this time.

I understand. There has been so much erosion with these rains.

Good morning, Jen. I miss those old style ice cream churns. My parents used to throw ice cream parties every couple of weeks during the summer. They had three of those old style machines and some of the guests would bring their's as well. All the kids got to take a turn turning the crank. It was so much fun.
