Good morning DMC, glad you have some perfect weather for your camping! And super nice about the lack of mosquitos.

I'm ok with some rain for today (it's the next week or so of rain I'm not crazy about)

I'm glad you're getting some nice weather! Are you still camping? I'd imagine you guys get some pretty bat-sized mosquitoes with all the water around. I'm just assuming, but glad you don't have to deal with those!

Hi Janie! I hope the coffee tastes good. I miss my doughnut shop, too! The virtual doughnuts are fine, good dunkers anyway (is that allowed in VR?) I've been making non-virtual homemade ice cream and eating way too much of that! No sugar, tho, but still...

Geez, it's like the weather controllers can't figure this out, lol. I don't feel like we've gotten our fair share, so if you could pack some up and ship it over, or like how the weather just follows people, you could make a trip up here? Haha.

I think dunking is a requirement with virtual doughnuts, so you're in the clear

We got home at noon.
The mosquitoes and flies are terrible at home. My husband says the skeets are as big as woodpeckers…he’s exaggerating…maybe hummingbirds.

It was really nice yesterday…mid 70’s. They must have sprayed for mosquitos because I’ve only seen 2. We picked a couple really nice days to be here.

I have seen 2 this summer. I hear them before I see them.

I have a cat that looks like her. Her name is Piper. Beautiful.

Will this be the rain you were wishing for?

Do you still need the rain?

The rain is nice in small doses but it seems to all come down at once, then skip a few weeks and repeat. We just had some driveway repair done and I'm hoping it will last this time.

I envy you that homemade ice cream! I keep thinking I'll buy a new icecream maker but I talk myself out of it.

Its a little scary outside right now. The wind is blowing like mad. Lots of thunder & lightening too.
Junapurr and I had to come inside. She certainly hated to give up MY favorite back porch chair. Boo made her way inside too.
