Broody hen with rooster?

In the spring i will let my NH bantam hen set on eggs, just her and the roo in their own coop. Can he stay with her the whole time? Will he kill the babies?

I've heard of that happening... but who knows, maybe he'll be a great daddy!

i hope so, i dont want to seperate them.

I have seen the hens circle a new hatched chick and peck it to death. I have not seen this with the roos. I do not think that roos are like a lion, they do not kill their young from what i understand.
