I've got a broody hen and I have about seven eggs in the incubator that are hatching now....can I put them under her and take the others would she take to them

Each hen is different, some will take anything, others will kill anything. I have had better luck putting the chicks in a wire enclosure near where the hen is sitting, than bringing her down by them, some want them others don't. Otherwise if you put them under her I would do it while you can observe if she's going to take them or not.

How long has she been sitting?
You can put the 7 eggs under her just watch her reaction.
What breed of hen is she?
And is she and Evil(That means does she bite or attack you) or is she Good(Is a big sweet heart)

She's been sitting for around a month and half I tke the bad eggs and give her others....she's a game hen....she's evil

Game birds are typically not good sitters. OH NO SHE'S EVIL!!!
LOL
I would take her eggs away(B/c they are probably all rotten) You can smell the eggs to tell if they are rotten

But see if she accepts your hatching eggs. If she does she will be very happy with the babies

I agree with Old Hen, each is an individual. Some will mother anything, some won’t. As with anything chicken, there are different ways to do this. I typically put the chicks in her nest at night after it is really dark and check early the next morning. That works fine for me. I’ve also just put the chicks near her and she took them.

How long has she been broody? I did have a problem once but that hen had just gone broody. She never harmed the chicks but she did not accept them either. She let he chicks share her nest for two nights and the day in between but never adopted them. I finally took them out and brooded them myself.

Many people keep game hen in their flock just because they go broody so often and make great mothers. Each hen is an individual but I think your odds of a game hen accepting them are really good.

Let us know how it goes.

I put one under her that's the only one that's pipping right now if he hatched and she takes to him she will have one at least...I'm almost positive all those other eggs are rotten I'll take them ASAP.....I tried to put babies with her she attacked them

Update she took him and two others I had hatched out she's doing good for her first time
