Broody Hen

ive had a broody hen for a while sitting on non fertilized eggs............if i put fertilized eggs under it now would it stay on them for long enough???

I had a broody do the same thing. So I bought 3 eggs and now have 3 beautiful chicks!
Having said that tho I think it would depend on the chicken. I’ve hatched some of my own for a couple years and have never had the broody quit in the middle.

not sure exactly about 2 weeks
it was broody a few months ago then it stopped and it started again a couple weeks ago

ok....it might reject them prematurely as to her they 'should' be hatching adn probly wont hatch in the time left...?
