Broody Hen

So I have a silky who’s only been broody for about a week do you think should take baby chicks now? If I put them underneath her tonight?

It should work. Just sneak them under while she's sleeping and she'll probably take right up with them, especially since she's a silkie. If she's really broody and hasn't really been getting up, she shouldn't care that she hasn't been setting long.
