Broody Hen

I have 7 hens. Two have begun laying, and one of those 2 is a broody hen. She is sitting on the ceramic eggs I placed in egg boxes. Should I remove ceramic eggs if I have a broody hen? Not all of my hens are laying yet. Will she get up to eat? I have never had chickens before.

Is she on nest most the day and all night?
When you pull her out of nest and put her on the ground, does she flatten right back out into a fluffy screeching pancake?
Does she walk around making a low cluckcluckcluckcluckcluck(ticking bomb) sound on her way back to the nest?

If so, then she is probably broody and you'll have to decide how to manage it.

I do not have a rooster, so, while I have the room, I do not have "the dude."

Well you could get fertile eggs. Otherwise break her

Has she spent the night in the nest yet?

I am not positive if she was in there overnight. She did come out to greet me this morning.

You need to check.
Don't you do head count and lock up your coop just after dark?
