i have an older hen (@ 5 yrs old) that has stopped laying but is now constantly on the nest and 2 of my girls won't lay with her there and the other one sits almost on top of her to lay and she quickly gathers up the egg to sit on. how do i stop this and get my other girls to start laying again? i now have 8 chickens ( 2 of which have turned out to be roos) and get only 1 egg a day! Please help!
