i got a chicken laying on duck eggs has anybody ever had this happen and how did it turn out.

I have heard of people using chickens to incubate eggs from other birds, if she is big enough to cover them well and stays broody long enough they just might hatch (providing they are fertile) She might not know quite what to do with them once they hatch other than keeping them warm.
