Our OEGB is broody. She has been for a long time, longer than it would take to hatch eggs. She is not eating very often, and is really skinny. It has got to the point where we bring her inside to feed her. She is sitting on golf balls. What can we do to get her to stop being broody? We are worried about her health.

Thanks for the reply. I took the golf balls when she left for food. She didn't go back to the box after she found out they were gone. However, at night, she went back to the box and acted broody again. I decided to end it right there so I took her and put her on the roost with the big girls. She has been acting normal ever since.

Good job
