Broody hen

I have a broody hen, it seems like my other 8 hens aren't laying as regular as before she went broody, is that normal?

I have a broody hen and noticed my others aren't laying as regular either. I think it's because with her out, the pecking order has been messed up.

Are you checking for new eggs under the broody? When my hens are sitting, that place (no matter where she is) becomes everyones new favorite spot.
If that's not what's going on, I agree with the previous post. The pecking order is slightly off or way off depending on the broodys attitude. Some of them don't act much differently and some are h*ll on wheels! Either way, there are probably some readjustments being made. Chickens are creatures of habit. I can sit the waterer in a different place and mess up laying :/
