Broody Hen

Success!!! We let her out Thursday evening and she has been back to her old, bossy self ever since!
Good news! She will most likely be a "perpetual broody" so be on the lookout for signs of it in the future!

Oh really? That's good to know...thanks! So does that tend to run in certain breeds more than others? We'd heard that buff orpingtons tend to be broody. Or is it more hen-specific?
 
The only breeds that I'm familiar with that tend to go broody consistently are Buff Orpingtons and Black Australorps.
