Yes, just like MountainPeeps said, put fertile eggs under her. If you want to choose whether you want boys or girls, wait 23- 27 days and put a day old (male or female) chick under her at night. The younger it is the more likely she is to accept it.

OK. Thanks for everything! Tonight my silkie wasn't laying on the eggs. I think I will just leave the 3 eggs in there and leave her alone. If she want to go broody she will. Do you think she will ever go broody for me?
