One of my pullets has gone broody. Seeing as it's the middle of winter in Ohio, it's not exactly a good time for her to be trying to hatch eggs, plus we have chicks we just incubated, so we're not looking for more. I'm just wondering how long they stay broody for? Will she stay broody until she has a chance to hatch some in the spring, or will she eventually "get over it" if we keep taking the eggs from her. It's not a huge deal, but she sure does get mad when we kick her out of the nesting box to get the eggs every day.

Just move her. Put her in a pen by herself for three days where she can't see her nest but is still near enough to the flock where she can hear and see them.. Make sure she's got good food and water, and she'll forget about it, her broody spell will be broken.
