Floppy one of our BO hens with some of her friends

She was momma hen last year, brooding out about 15 chicks last year in two different batches.

Right now we have these two competing to see who can be momma. It started with Sweet pea the bantum hen setting on 8 little eggs but now Fiona the turkey has stolen the nest and the bantum is waiting for her to get off to steel it back.

This is fuzzy and her clutch of chicks hatched on march 31st, to this day mama is still carting those kids around.
