I dont know what to do!!! The cage doesnt fit in the coop so the only thing I can think to do is mark the eggs :( even though it seems risky...

Hmmm. How many nest boxes do you have?

Maybes you should try putting some chicken wire over the front of her box the let he rout daily like i said before. Your hens will have the other nest box and if that isn't enough, you could always add a small box for them to use too.

I had a similar situation in that my broody was in the 'favorite' nest & all the other hens laid in the same nest. I'd just go in once a day & take out all the eggs I didn't want her to sit on. It was easy since she was sitting on blue eggs & my other hens lay brown or cream.

You could just put a mark on the eggs you want her to set on & remove the others each day.

Thats what we did (2 eggs did get broken from the other hens, 2 went bad(?)) and of the viable 7 eggs, 4 hatched out into nice little fluffy butts- up high in that nest box. (the other 3 were in waay early stages of development, they must have been snuck in before I got around to marking them)....I was going to leave them in the coop but my daughter (well intentioned) moved mother and chicks into a dog crate inside while I am out of town this weekend-- I guess one baby followed mom when she went out to eat and she sat down in the run and wouldnt move protecting it.... and then the other chicks came down and were all over the place....

Okay maybe this is a bad decision but I marked the eggs. It worked for today at least because I removed one! Yay! Below
