Broody Legbars?

Here is my crested cream legbar phoenix cross hen. She is currently sitting on 16 eggs, so I got my finger crossing that she will hatch all 16. In the ending March, she hatch a dozen foster blue and black sumatra chicks. After 3 weeks raising her foster chicks, she started laying again and I didn’t breed her 2 weeks later.

Note: My nest box are some old water bucket that were left by neighbors.

I am adding my follow-up story since I see people are still peeking at this thread. Our Legbar saw it through until the end. We didn't stick very many eggs under her since she was on the skinny & small side - not ideal for setting. I incubated the rest. Once they hatched, I snuck all the boys out to her in the middle of the night and brooded the girls. She was a good mom.

technically a success story, but I will note that since they are a lighter breed, it was very hard on her. She seemed to be nothing but skin and bones by the time they hatched and she started eating well again vs calling to her chicks. It took a while to get her condition back so she would lay again. I didn't allow her to set again after that.
