I candled the eggs of my moscovy tonight. It's been about two weeks and I see veigns but that is about it. I'll look closer tomorrow. What should I see at 2 weeks and how do I know if they have gone bad?

Muscovies take 35 days to hatch. I didn't bother my broody muscovy hens much, other than to check an egg to make sure they still were developing near the end of the incubation period.

muscury broodies are very good hatching eggs.

I owned 2 hens and 1 drake. Both went broody at the same time, one with 25 and the other with 22 eggs. After 35 days I had 23 and 20 newly ducklings. Within 6 months I had almost 90ish ducklings, so I decided not to give them any more eggs to hatch for a while.
