just some insight. Muscovies are hardy brooders, they will fight another female to sit on eggs they didn't even lay, though sometimes they lay on eggs because they are fixing to lay there own and they just take up the other females. what i did is separate the eggs when three females started to sit on the same nest, one didn't lay at all but as soon as i separated the eggs one of my girls layed at least twelve, maybe more. so she was waiting to lay her own, the other just started sitting on eggs because her sisters were doing it and she didn't want tot feel left out lol
