I’ve always heard that Polish hens aren’t broody but mine has been on eggs now 23.5/7 for around 6 weeks… is this ok?!

They are fertile now as my silkie rooster just started mating about 2 weeks ago so should I still break her or wait?

This is your first mistake. As long as they have their female hormones, every female chicken has a chance of going broody. Polish hens are just not known to go broody, they rarely do that because it is how they have been bred. One of my Polish hens, Spring, recently went broody but broke eventually.

Oh and I checked my calendar & it’s been 4.5 weeks now not 6 weeks! My mistake!
In that case, the eggs are likely never going to hatch. They are way over the hatch time. You need to break your broody. Hens that are broody for too long will starve to death.
