I put another hens egg in front of her and she rolled it underneath her. Could this mean that she may be going broody. I noticed yesterday a couple of times she was sitting on one of her eggs. But she did stay off of it quite a bit. When she's sitting on it she's picking up hey and tossing it to both sides of her. It is still hot her in the south so I'm assuming that if she is broody, she can stay off the eggs for awhile. I really hope that she is. Please give me your input. Thanks

Seems I'm the only one posting on here lol. I can't help it. I'm new to this and it's exciting! I placed a bowl of water and food in front of the 2 eggs now that I gave her the other egg. She came right down and set on them. Can anyone tell me if they stop laying when they're broody? She hasn't played one yet today. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
