Hello. I have a hen that is due on Easter day. My question is can I clean her cage out and put fresh bedding in there? I will only take the eggs out 2 minutes at the most. And the next question. Can I bring her to my house and put her in my shed so she will not be disturbed? I'd hate for her to stop being broody with a week to go. Thanks for any and all help

I would leave her be unless the cage is deplorable. What are your reasons for moving her if she has a secure place in her cage I assume within the main coop? I seem to have the same setup as yourself and I am leaving mine in the coop in her crate. I will remove the door after the chicks hatch but leave them in the main coop. I had to put the door on it becasue my Brabanter kept going in and laying her a new egg each day and they are not fertile. I do open the door every evening when I get home from work to let her out (ok, push her out, LOL) to stretch and do her business (she doesn't poo in the crate).

Hello. And thank you for the response. Well I have got my little broody hen in with 5 roosters. She in just a small cage. Maybe 2x2. I just don't want her to be uncomfortable. When I go to feed I shew my hens out of the main coop, then I shew my roosters out so the little momma will be left alone. I feed her, give her some clover, and give her some fresh water. Then i open the door and I don't have to shove her out haha all you see is a little white fur ball coming out streching and usiing the bathroom. Her you know what is the mostHORRIBLE SMELLING THING I have ever come in contact wit!. Everytime I let her out I have a little shovel there for her to clean it haha. It's terrible. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I cut back on the greens and it didn't change. Now as far as the reason i want to move her, I would like to move her so I can feed the chicks and her at least 2-3 times a day. I only feed my big ones 1 time. And plus so she can have some room for the little diddlers to run around. I might just wait til the little diddlers hatch to move them. Thank you.
