broody question

My BO has been on eggs for 10 days. Today she broke the last and only viable egg. Can I give her new eggs today or has she been sitting too long to complete a hatch?

subbing to this thread to hear what others have to say. i have a feeling i may be in the same boat with our broody hen soon.

My hens although games will set until they hatch or the eggs are pulled. Also a lot of people keep hens broody with golf balls till they get eggs to hatch. So my short answer is yes

Excellent! I gave her 4 more. So I guess we will see either way. Hopefully she stays content.
