Broody questions

at what age, if there is a certain age, is a hen more likely to go broody? I know this is a silly question but very curious here.

Any time, really. Most of my Silkies go broody about 4-6 weeks after they start to lay eggs and just keep repeating their broody cycles right through the winter and all. I have 3 standard broodies right now - all between 9-12 months old - I think theirs is a springtime thing.
