I recently acquired our neighbors Roo, he comes over in the morning and leaves at bed time, this has been going on for about a month now. One of my RIR's has gone broody 4 days ago and is only sitting on a dummy wood egg. I know my sweet daughter, took an egg from under her the first day, should I put one of the other eggs under her for her to try to hatch? With a ratio of 11 hens to 1 roo the fertility rate would be pretty low right?

I'd say go for it. With one roo and 11 hens I would say fertility would be atleast 50%, Maybe more. you could try putting 4-8 eggs under and then candling at 5-10 (depending on what color the eggs are, if they are brown you may want to wait until day 10). Good Luck!
