Yep, Ruby is broody AGAIN :(.
Is it normal for them to flea and peck at themselves a lot when broody? I have mite and flea treatments but I am afraid to us it on her as I have noticed that she has lost a lot of feathers from underneath and her chest and seems to be very red and it looks sore.
Is loss of feathers also normal when broody?
Advice please friends :(

Yes it is normal for them to pull out their feathers underneath when broody. Do you want her to hatch eggs? If not, you can break the broodiness by isolating her in a wire bottom cage for 2-3 days/nights. I would check for mites, and treat if you see them.
