I have 2 silkies they both are broody at the same time. they have no eggs and I need to find out how to break them of this? they have been like this for about 3 weeks or so .

I have read that you need to cool their belly to break the hormone cycle. You can try putting them in a an elevated wire bottom cage with no bedding to provide air flow under them, soak them in a tub of cool water, put frozen water bottles under them in The nest. These are a few things I’ve seen search broody breaker and more results should come up.

Hi All. I have beem putting my boody girls out of the coop. I started tonight and each day, I am going to put them out. I also don't keep food or water in the coop with the nesting boxes, hoping that would help. I had everyone in the run with no food until everyone was out of the coop. Then I tossed them their feed because I still have that 1 peep-peep. I filled their bucket with some feed and they have water. I'm hoping a week of this will break them because I'm not hatching anymore chicks!

Cage or pen them with food and water, either in coop or run, so they can't get back to the nest box. Keep them locked up until they stop showing broody behavior. It takes about 3 days if you do it immediately, but since they've been broody a while it might be more difficult to break them and may take longer.
