WoW! that sounds like my coop

When I had lots of cochins and silkies, the coop was always full for mean ol' broody's hehe. Time and some awful experiences with predetors has changed my flock over toward larger, less broody girls.

Good luck with your broody legghorn. I had one legghorn go broody, but I think that was the silkie part of her coming out.

Last year i had 4 leghorn out of 11 to go broody all at the same time. It must of been a full moon. They were very good moms.But my leghorns wouldnt let me pull them out of the nest. Yours runs away. Mine was very stuburd. I sold them. I do miss that . So i ordered more leghorns with other brown layers at the same time. HOpeing next summer this will happened again. Wish full thinking.
