Broody with broken egg

I have a broody who was on four eggs. She started sitting on the 9th. She had a egg that broke and got egg all over her belly and on two of the other eggs. I wiped the eggs off and wiper her off. I'm hesitant to use water and wash off the bloom, but I'm also worried that the egg innards will mess up the porosity and oxygen exchange through the shell of the coated egg.
Should I wash the eggs? Should I take her in and give her a bath? Should I just leave it? Give her new eggs?

If you're experienced at candling, wait 24 hours and candle the eggs.
If you're not experienced at candling, take pictures of the eggs being candled and post them. We should be able to tell you if they are still alive. Do not wash the eggs. Wipe the hen off using water and don't worry about her getting the eggs damp. Check the hen's toe nails. If there overgrown that would be why the egg broke or it might have had a thin shell. If you really want more chicks badly you might want to give her fresh eggs. I have had many fouled eggs hatch with no problems. Good luck.

I understand the circumstances aren't exactly the same. I have had a similar situation once many years ago. I did wash everything with warm water. The eggs hatched. I also had some eggs come out of a nest box that were covered from a broken egg. At the time I was using my incubator. I washed them off in warm water, put them in and they hatched ok. I was told prior to never wash an egg you are planning on incubating. I thought I'd try it since the eggs were covered from the broken egg. If you decide to bathe your broody, she might actually like it. I bathe my birds prior to shows. I have used a hair blow drier to dry them with. They actually seem to like it and are relaxed. I'm pretty sure that our little rooster did it. We think he finally lost a battle and was hiding in the nest with the broody. He's OEGB, so tiny. He has been depressed acting all afternoon. They must have harassed him until he found a place to hide.
Poor Mama. I have not seen her leave the nest to eat and drink like the others do. She is very dedicated.

I'm pretty sure that our little rooster did it. We think he finally lost a battle and was hiding in the nest with the broody. He's OEGB, so tiny. He has been depressed acting all afternoon. They must have harassed him until he found a place to hide.
Poor Mama. I have not seen her leave the nest to eat and drink like the others do. She is very dedicated.

Watch her carefully. She needs to get off to eat, drink and poop at least once a day. I had a broody I took off her nest once a day. A friend of mine had a very dedicated broody and she actually died on her nest. He said he never saw her get off of it. I put a game camera up to see if mine would get off when I hadn't noticed and she didn't so after a few days I took her off every day and then she would take a bit of food, drink a little and poop and as soon as I unblocked the nest she was right back on it.
