Broody Wyandotte

Hey all!
our gold laced Wyandotte has not laid for weeks now, and I always find her in the nesting box (she’s even sleeping there).
She has all feathers in tact and looks otherwise healthy? Our flock is under a year old, and this one hen is the only one acting this way. She’s our only Wyandotte, and of this a breed trend I have my answer for ones not to buy in the future!
Any guesses how to get her back on track with the rest of her team?

She is broody. Do you want to break her broodiness or do you want her to hatch some eggs?

Is she growling when you approach touch her? Pick her up- has she lost weight? Do you have a dog kennel you could separate her in with food and water to break her broodiness (if that's what it is)?

My go-to signs of a broody:
Is she on nest most the day and all night?
When you pull her out of nest and put her on the ground, does she flatten right back out into a fluffy screeching pancake?
Does she walk around making a low cluckcluckcluckcluckcluck(ticking bomb) sound on her way back to the nest?

If so, then she is probably broody and you'll have to decide how to manage it.

I don’t want hatching! I’ve put her in an isolated pen today and plan to let her out Monday. Crossing fingers!
