My sister is watching the birds at my parents ranch and discovered 1 muscovy and 3 hens gone broody inside a large cat carrier. (how they fit is a mystery but they are all in there) these are stubborn nasty broodies who are not letting her touch them. I am not at the ranch, its like 4+ hours away, and she is asking me what to do.
Should she move the muscovy and duck eggs to a dog kennel? what should I tell her to do? I never dealt with broodies (just incubators) So far I told her cordon off the area soo its its own pen and put food and water near by, but that is the extent of what I know.
