I recently bought some BO chick eggs and some SLC chick eggs under the BO broody hen once they hatch will the mom attack the SLC?

I'm guessing SLC is a different breed? A broody hen will adopt other hens eggs and will hatch different breeds of chicks. As long as they hatch under her I'm sure she'll love them just as much as the BO chicks. I don't believe it makes a difference.

No problem.

I've seen silkie hens hatch out chicks that end up two times the size of her! I wander what they think when their baby grows bigger than them

Oh sorry I wasn't sure what you meant, but yea I agree with everyone else you can mix and match any breed. They may not hatch depending of the size of the hen and the eggs but yes you can do that.

The only issue would be having bantam and standard chicks in the same hatch; the littles won't be able to keep up with their bigger hatchmates, and can get left behind. Hens don't count their brood, but respond to chirps/ cries from the chicks. Either have all bantam or all standard eggs for her. Mary
