Broody

My buff orp had become broody, so I switched out the egg with a newborn, she is an awesome mama. We gave them separated from my other three girls. When and how do I introduce them back into the flock?

Try and introduce them for a short bit to see how to flock reacts. If the mother hen protects it or the other birds don’t mind it you could probably keep them all together, but you would have to feed them all chick starter. If you have calcium available with it that’s no problem.
