this is my first broody hen... i think. i don't have a rooster and she's been in the nesting box for almost 2 weeks. she switches nesting boxes, and isn't laying on just her eggs. when i go to take them away she churtles at me and puffs up. yesterday i took her out she just layed on the floor where i put her down, then walked away after a few minutes. today when i picked her up i realized her belly is naked! theres no feathers on her belly, not even stubs! is this normal or should i be concerned? i just want to make sure she isn't egg bound. also is it healthy to just let her do her thing or should i try to discourage this behavior? all of my other chickens have never cared about their eggs as much as this one...
Thanks!

This all sounds like normal broody behavior. She will come out of it naturally. Some like to encourage them to come out of it, but it's up to you.
