Broody?

I have a tiny 10 month old hen and I thought she might be going broody and she stopped paying attention to the eggs. Now she's more interested in the eggs and has been sleeping on them. Broody?

She might be. Does she cluck or peck at you when you come near? Is her breast area featherless? If so, she is most likely broody.

If she's on the nest at night, she's likely broody. Does she puff up and growl at you? Make any soft clucking noises? Do you see her off the nest during the day?
